I apply mediums from a sense of need to create something and be contributing positive constructive efforts to the spaces I am in routines with. Working with oil paint is like holding an idea or praying for guidance; the practice of application alone doesn’t hold the imagery quickly. The oil takes time to dry and the pigment shows shape front the marks of medium moved by my hand. I learn the expressive qualities of natures spirit as I pay attention to my hand and compose colorful conversations. I hold space to paint as a meditation and use the elements of art to silence my mind.
I found creative opportunities through floristry as a lucrative fine art. Growing, arranging, gifting , and admiring them has greatly directed my work practices and improves space wherever it resides. Nature keeps me hopeful and grateful to know the simple beauty of it’s presence and view it as art.
At the root, my creative work has been generated by a lifelong instinct to draw, to express my thoughts with my observations into color and let my hands take the direction to produce my mark; my artwork (#CHart). My undergraduate study and practices of what fine art is and how to artfully interpret my understanding of big picture creation processes and to recognize value. I feel value before I know the words to give it description. My intuitive senses with my education and experiences serve as guides to my work and provide my mind with abstract maps of inspiration. I give nature space to move my actions and relationships forward and pay attention to the innocence of excitement and the logic of giving my time and living space to grow between mediums and moments of career changes.
I want to create a professional design business to share what I know about art curation and workforce relationships to produce successful navigation of conceptual and material processes that communicate beyond words and connect people to themselves through their value of others intentional work.
