Three artists from three different cultural backgrounds and levels off academic training respond to the feelings and perception of places special and unique to themselves through the discipline and practice of painting. For each artist the place is visualized by the meaning given to an idea, environment or a dream. At times a location is identified and given a specific identity and separated from the undefined space that surrounds it. Other times places become visions of rest and belonging and take on an emotional connection. These are places for the artists that have a strong "Sense of Place."
